Yes, very American. I decided to try to capture a feel for the event in pictures, rather than just taking snapshots of my friends. It was my first time photgraphing strangers and it felt a little weird. But I got some good shots. I guess this is the sort of thing that photojournalists do all the time.

It has occured to me that I need a few things A fancy shirt with Elvis on it A jumpsuit with a fake package in the wrong spot An Elvis wig Then I will be happy, but until then, my life remains unfullfilled

aw man, i'm so bummed i wasn't there. but i hear that people at Elvisfest remembered last year's "Girl Elvises." yay!

No sideburns this year, I had a job interview just a couple weeks earlier. Hopefully I'll be able to grow them out for Elvis' birthday this winter. The Girl Elvises were quite fondly remembered, no surprise.
