New Apartment
July 18, 2005 @ 4:12 pm
For those who have been asking, here's a picture of my new apartment in Williamstown, Massachusetts.
Two bedroom apartment, living room, dining room, kitchen, and one bath. Located on the first floor of a two family house.
I haven't seen it yet but by the end of next week I'll be living there! I'm looking forward to sitting on the little porch, and since I've got the whole floor hopefully I'll be able to have an East-facing bedroom. I did break my rule of only renting top floor apartments, but the bedrooms for the other tenant are on the third floor so I don't imagine it will be much of an issue.

Yeah, it's pretty sweet, and all for $200 less than I'm paying now. It's only a block from the library too, which makes for an easy commute. In Google satellite view, the library is the building with two squares on the roof to the West of my house.

WOW! Congrats! This is sudden, or I think it is. Might just be that I am out of the loop :-) And the apartment looks loverly.

Thats in the middle of nowhere! You're almost in the google wilderness where the satellite images are all low res. Watch out for bears.

wait. do you have dreams of making an egg movie? i made and starred in an egg movie! ask deepfry. she's seen it. (i'd be surprised if she hasn't already told you all about it. it was and remains a masterpiece of cinematic beauty.)

Well, it all started when one of us noticed that nowhere in the Humpty Dumpty rhyme is he referred to as an egg. Without illustrations, Humpty could be anything. So we started imagining other things that could be rendered as eggs, and then imagined shooting an entire film with a cast of eggs. Tonight, the part of Hamlet will be played by... an egg. Sarah and Miranda are in on it, but I don't think I mentioned it to Eliz. I'm running out of time so fast, since I move in less than a week! One more project to put on hold.

Form one cold winter to another? From one small town to smaller? Nice apartment (they took the picture on sunny weather, though) Congratulations for your new job! Party well :)

Williamstown is just too darn cute. Does the library still have those funky double-decker study desks?

Yeah, the "monkey carrels" are a trip. The top one is like a tree house, and the bottom is like a fort. I'll post pictures here at some point.
