1000 Feet To Go

Just got back from my latest attempt on the summit. I made it well past the halfway point this time, and I only have 3 miles and 1000 feet left. Another three expeditions and I should make it to the top.

I've started tracking my progress in Google Earth, which I'd been using to calculate elevations. Click the map to see more detail.

The numbered pushpins represent each of my attempts. The rest indicate the different stages (I broke the 2800 foot climb into four stages). Stage two is the worst, climbing 700 feet in 1.6 miles. Once I got past that today, things got easier.
