Saddam Is Back

Saddam HusseinI had another dream about Saddam Hussein last night. It was after the war and he was looking old and pathetic, like last time. In this dream we were in a restaurant in Iraq, and he was wearing his military fatigues. The jacket was kind of wrinkled, like he'd been sleeping in his clothes. I noticed there were a lot of families dining at the restaurant, soldiers in green camo with their spouses and children in civilian clothes. When we got up to leave, the American soldiers all glared at us, so I slapped Saddam on the back and put my arm around him to piss them off.

Then I had another dream right after the Saddam dream where I was on a tour bus, telling people about the Saddam dream. Every time I take Tylenol PM (like last night) I have weird multi-level dreams. A week ago I was four levels in. First I was dreaming that I was back in my old hall director apartment at Carleton, but with more windows. Then I woke up from that dream and found myself house sitting for my aunt and uncle in PA. I was sitting in an orange recliner that they got rid of ten years ago. Then I woke up from that dream but I was still in PA and my cousin (who is about my age in real life) was 4 years old and he could fly. Then I woke up from that dream and my cousin was the right age, but now my mom was serving sundaes in brandy snifters and I was back in the orange recliner. Then I really woke up and realized how weird my dreams have become.

Malaria pills and this one antidepressant I was on before my accident made for good dreams - especially the malaria pills

At least it's better than melatonin. Tylenol PM gives me weird dreams, but melatonin makes me wake up screaming.
