Sea Monster?

When I stopped by New Haven on the way back from the U.K. last weekend, Christine and I spotted something in the Long Island Sound. Could it be a sea monster? Or possibly a log pushed out to sea by an overgrown man-child? Not wanting to take any chances, we threw rocks at it.

I was visiting my sister who's studying there. Ubiquity comes naturally to me.
