Australia Pics

I just realized that I haven't posted any pics from my Australia vacation here, so here's a selection from my stay in Burleigh Heads. Miranda's cousin Natham and his girlfriend Tanya were kind enough to put us up for a few days.First some kangaroo for dinner - the fourth dead kangaroo I'd seen. Tastes kind of like bison.
Then off to a bar for my usual green drink.
The next day Tanya got us started with some amazing fruit salads.
Natham had to be at work by 11, so around 11:15 we met up with his brother and headed for the beach.
Who needs tripods? Not us!
Dinner was Thai takeout. The salt lamp owning roommates/landlords were vegan, so we had to hide in the bedroom to eat, and burn some incense to cover the chicken smell. I made a mental note to call my vegetarian sponsor.
And of course, what would Burleigh Heads be without surfing? Natham taught me how to hang loose and hang ten.
After all that surfing, I woke up the next morning to find a brand new table in the kitchen! Talk about disorienting.
It was a great couple of days! And I didn't even mention the gift of sprouts or the drum circle or get pics of the vegan restaurant where I did some penance!

Oh yes, right off the 15 hour flight Miranda takes me to a drag show. So much incriminating evidence out there! I just hope that video doesn't find it's way onto the net!
