March of the Librarians
February 12, 2007 @ 10:29 am
I posted this video on Thursday morning, and the next thing I know it's burning up the library blogosphere. I sent it to a couple librarian friends, who have been hearing about it through other channels in the days since. Eliz was at a librarians party and someone asked her if she'd seen the video, and she was like "I know that guy." Then Laura had her reference meeting open with a viewing. What can I say, subcultures love self-referential commentary.Replies: 8 Comments

It's terrific, good work! I actually saw notice of it on a listserv within my library before I had checked bloglines and saw your post.

I'm actually a little freaked out at all the exposure it's gotten. I'm going to be "That March of the Librarians Guy" for the rest of my career at this rate.

Well, that is only if you don't do anything else as awesome for the rest of your career, and I highly doubt that will happen.

My favorite comment on youtube was "I want to swim with the librarians."
